- Rihanna is acting as co-chair of the Met Gala this year.
- She is known for sticking to the theme every year.
- This year's theme is "Heavenly Bodies."
- Fans loved her religious-inspired outfit.
Rihanna established herself as the unofficial queen of the Met Gala in 2015 with her drop-dead gorgeous yellow Guo Pei dress. And, while the singer and makeup mogul is known for consistently sticking to the theme and wowing with her looks every year, the internet was again totally taken aback by her look for the Met Gala again Monday night
It makes sense that she would bring it even more this year, as she's acting as a co-chair of the night.
Dressed in a silver, bedazzled Maison Margiela by John Galliano gown and accompanying robe, Rihanna completed her Met Gala look with a Stephen Jones Millinery hat crafted in the style of the pope’s tiara. This headdress is normally reserved for religious ceremonies, which seemed to be a nod to the night's theme "Heavenly Bodies."
The reactions to her ensemble were overwhelmingly positive, with fans across the country calling the Fenty mogul the best dressed.
