On Wednesday night, Nashville went Hollywood as country musicians gathered at the Bridgestone Arena for the 2012 CMT Music awards.
Carrie Underwood proved to be the night's big winner, taking home the awards for Video of the Year for "Good Girl" and Collaborative Video of the Year with Brad Paisley for "Remind Me."
While the usual country crooners were all in attendance, a few more random faces—like Denise Richards and Hayden Panettiere—came out for the show that was hosted by the odd pairing of actress Kristen Bell and musician Toby Keith.
But despite the awards honoring country music, there were few cowboy boots and hats to be seen.
Instead, most stars opted for glam, short, and sparkly gowns for the event. And of course, big hair.
Carrie Underwood ruled the purple carpet in a silver Randi Rahm mini dress and Gio Diev heels. "I've been trying to wear them around so I don't bust my rear end on stage!" she said of the shoes.

After performing during the show, Underwood took home two awards for "Video of the Year " and "Collaboration of the Year," for "Remind Me," with Brad Paisley.

Underwood's fellow "American Idol" alum Kelli Pickler showed off her assets in this fringed, tiered rose mini dress.
