Designer Rick Owens had an interesting take on accessories for his Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in Paris.
Though many of the looks were more subdued than his past shows, Owens sent models down the runway wearing other models as backpacks.
Owens toldWomen's Wear Daily that it was all about "women carrying women," adding that he had specifically recruited gymnasts and dancers for the task.

The models themselves hung lifeless and were so unmoving that they might have appeared to the casual observer to be mannequins.

Though it may seem like just a stunt, it’s also a feat of design: To create a harness that allows the wearer to carry another human being is no easy task.

Especially when the models — who were gymnasts and dancers Owens specifically hired for the show — appeared to be roughly equal in size and weight.
