Sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid may have had all of the attention leading up to the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Monday, but model Ming Xi quickly snatched all of it after taking a tumble on the runway.

The fall — and Xi's extremely graceful recovery — immediately went viral. Though almost everyone praised Xi for handling the mishap so well, it's probably not the most ideal situation for a model walking in one of the most anticipated fashion shows of the year.

Xi finally addressed the incident on social media and seems to be taking it all in her stride.

As many of you may already know, I fell during my 5th year walking at the Victoria's Secret show yesterday. It was no doubt one of the hardest moments I have ever had to go through in my career, especially since the show was taking place in my hometown, in front of my mother's and my people's eyes. However, the support I received from everyone yesterday was incredible and I am truly grateful to everyone who was there for me. @ed_razek Thank you for your supportive words and your continuous support throughout these 7 years. @giizeleoliveira Thank you for helping me up after the fall, it was a very selfless and loving act from you. Thank you to all the girls who rushed to comfort me at backstage after what had happened, you are all family to me. Lastly thank you to everyone who sent and left me supportive messages. I will pick myself up from where I fell, and I will keep going in order to repay all the support you all have given me!! ❤️️#vsfashionshow @victoriassecret

"It was no doubt one of the hardest moments I have ever had to go through in my career, especially since the show was taking place in my hometown, in front of my mother's and my people's eyes," Xi wrote on Instagram.

Though she admits it was a difficult moment, she thankfully received a lot of encouragement from those around her.

"However, the support I received from everyone yesterday was incredible and I am truly grateful to everyone who was there for me," she added.

She also took a moment to thank fellow model Gizele Oliveira for helping her up and all of the people backstage that comforted her after the fall.

Xi also issued a statement on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, that had a slightly more apologetic tone to it.

"I'm sorry to let everyone down. Thanks for everyone's concern," Xi wrote. She ended her statement on a much more positive, optimistic note, however. "As a model for seven years, I have fallen on this road many times, but I know no matter how painful it is, I must stand and finish," she wrote. "The future road is long. I will always continue walking."
