Around 11% of brides are looking for more "unique" designs, including different colors, lengths, and styles, according to BRIDES American Wedding Study 2016.
Jumpsuits instead of wedding dresses are an emerging trend, too.
Etsy's Trend Expert Dayna Isom Johnson predicts that, in 2018, fashion-forward brides will start to move away from traditional gowns and choose edgy romper or pantsuit styles. Johnson thinks that bridesmaids may wear them as well.
